Dr Peter Lye
Medical Director

Dr Lye is one of the most renowned skin cancer doctors in Australia with qualifications in Medicine, Surgery, & Dermatology from universities in Sydney, Monash & Cardiff UK.  He currently serves as a Hearing Member for the Medical Council of NSW.  In the past, Dr Lye has sat on committees for the NSW Cancer Institute and NSW Melanoma Network, he's been a visiting clinician at the Sydney Melanoma Unit Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, and is a member of the Skin Cancer College Australasia and the AMA.  He has assisted in clinical trials for the Melanoma Vaccine, Selective Lymphadectomy, and SolarScan. Dr Lye was one of the first doctors in Australia to use analogue and digital dermoscopy, he has taught at University, and been an adviser to government, legal firms, and companies such as SBS Broadcasting and State Transit Authority.

Dr Tan has an interest in all aspects of skin cancer and surgery, and is a clinician at the Poche Centre Melanoma Institute of Australia.  Outside of work, he enjoys bushwalking, computers, motor racing, classical music and musical theatre.

Dr Young graduated from University of NSW with a Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery, and also holds a Certificate of Dermatology from Monash University.  He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and was a past Assistant Director of GP Casualty Balmain Hospital.  Dr Young’s practice involves all areas of skin cancer and surgery.  His outside interests include home renovation, cooking, skiing, tennis and spending time with his wife & children.

He is a member of the Skin Cancer College of Australasia.  Dr Quek is married to A/Prof Robyn Saw and is a deacon in his church.  He dabbles in computers, loves skiing through light powdery snow under blue sunny skies and sharing good food with friends

Away from work, Karen enjoys fine dining, travel and bushwalking.

Dr Kathryn Soddy

She is a member of the Skin Cancer College of Australasia.  Dr Soddy has interest in all areas of skin cancer and surgery. Outside of work, she enjoys singing, hot air ballooning, photography, reading crime stories, and taking long walks with husband, son and dog.

Dr Jeffrey Chow

Dr Chow is dual qualified in Medicine (University of Newcastle) and Dentistry (University of Sydney). He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. His main clinical interest is the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer. Dr Chow's skin cancer experiences include working as a resident in the Departments of Dermatology, and Plastic Surgery at Concord Hospital, as a registrar in Anatomical Pathology, and in completing Advanced Certificates in Skin Cancer and General Dermatology from the Australasian College of Dermatologists. Outside of work, he is an avid football (the round one) fan, a dog lover, and he enjoys cooking and travelling.
