Dr Peter Lye - Medical DirectorAIMM, MAICD, GradCertHRMC(Syd), MB BS(Syd), DipPDerm(Distinction)(Cardiff), DermCert(Monash)Peter graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. He has a Certificate in Dermatology from Monash University, and a Diploma in Dermatology from the University of Cardiff, UK. Peter is well recognised and received by the medical and professional community of Australia, holding past committee membership to the Cancer Institute of NSW, and the NSW Melanoma Network. Peter has also held membership in the Clinical Oncological Society of Australia, Skin Cancer College of Australia and New Zealand (SCCANZ), Australian Medical Association, Australian Institute of Management, and Australian Institute of Company Directors. Furthermore Peter is a Past President of the Australian Society of Skin Cancer Physicians, and a past Honorary Visiting Medical Practitioner at the Sydney Melanoma Unit (SMU) Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. Peter has assisted in clinical trials, including that of: C-Vax Melanoma Vaccine Trial, and Multicentre Selective Lymphadenectomy Trial at SMU, and the SolarScan System being developed by Polartechnics, CSIRO and SMU. Peter has a significant interest in Dermoscopy (Epiluminescence Microscopy) and Computer Diagnostic Technology using both the MoleMax and SolarScan Systems. He regularly attends the World Congresses on Cancer of the Skin, International Melanoma Society, International Dermoscopy Society and International Society for Skin Imaging. Peter's other major area of dermatological practice is in Cosmetic Medicine. He is a member of the Cosmetic Physicians Society of Australasia and has received advanced training in Botox (anti-wrinkle injections) and Juvederm (dermal fillers) and provides this service at Chatswood and selected Beauty Salons/Medispas. Peter is Medical Director at the Chatswood Skin Cancer Physicians, as well as medical consultant to government health commissions, biotechnology corporations and law firms. He is an Occupational Health consultant for skin cancer screening of large private companies as well as governmental bodies. Peter has provided medical training and lectures to doctors across Australia, Asia and the UK. Peter's other areas of practice include leadership, public speaking, and psychology. He is a writer and a filmmaker who has worked in Australia, USA and UK. The press once described him as Australia's most popular doctor in having a patient waiting list exceeding 2 years.
Dr Kate MackinnonMB BS Hons(Sydney), FRACGPKate graduated with Honours from the University of Sydney Medical School in 1992. She then undertook General Practice Training with special interest in Geriatrics, Rehabilitation and Family Planning. She is currently a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of General Practitioners. She has worked in General practice in Dee Why and more recently Forster Tuncurry during which time she developed an interest in Dermatology and Skin Cancer Medicine. Kate is a member of the Skin Cancer College of Australia and New Zealand. Dr Cheng LimMB BS(Flinders), FRACGP, CertDerm, CertFP, CertSH, MAPSADCheng is a medical graduate of Flinders University (South Australia). He is a Fellow, examiner, and mentors trainees for the Royal Australasian College of General Practitioners, and NSW University medical students. Cheng holds Certificates in Dermatology, Sexual Health, Family Planning and is a member of APSAD. He is currently the Director of the methadone unit at Royal North Shore Hospital (Private). Cheng's practice involves all areas of skin cancer and skin surgery. His outside interests include gardening, tennis and mountain bike riding.
