Dr Peter Lye – Medical Director

MBBS(Syd) DipDerm(Cardiff) CDerm(Monash) GCHRMC

Dr Lye is one of the most renowned skin cancer doctors in Australia with qualifications in Medicine, Surgery, & Dermatology from universities in Sydney, Monash & Cardiff UK.  In the past, Dr Lye has sat on committees for the NSW Cancer Institute and NSW Melanoma Network, been a visiting clinician at Sydney Melanoma Unit Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, and is a member of the Skin Cancer College Australasia and the AMA.  He has assisted in clinical trials for Melanoma Vaccine, Selective Lymphadectomy, and SolarScan.  Dr Lye was one of the first doctors in Australia to use analogue and digital dermoscopy, taught at University, and has been an adviser to government, legal firms, and companies such as SBS Broadcasting and State Transit Authority.

Dr Beng-Leong Tan

Dr Tan graduated with Honours from University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery, and also holds a Certificate of Dermatology from Monash University.  He is a member of the Skin Cancer College of Australasia and Sclerotherapy Society of Australia. Dr Tan has an interest in all aspects of skin cancer and surgery, and is a clinician at the Poche Centre Melanoma Institute of Australia.  Outside of work, he enjoys bushwalking, computers, motor racing, classical music and musical theatre.  

Dr Peter Young

MBBS(NSW) CDerm(Monash) FRACGP

Dr Young graduated from University of NSW with a Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery, and also holds a Certificate of Dermatology from Monash University.  He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and was a past Assistant Director of GP Casualty Balmain Hospital.  Dr Young’s practice involves all areas of skin cancer and surgery.  His outside interests include home renovation, cooking, skiing, tennis and spending time with his wife & children. 

Dr Adrian Quek

Dr Quek graduated with Honours from University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery, and also holds a Certificate of Dermatology from Monash University. He was a clinician at the Sydney Melanoma Unit, and is currently at the Poche Centre Melanoma Institute of Australia where he assists clinical trials. He is a member of the Skin Cancer College of Australasia.  Dr Quek is married to A/Prof Robyn Saw and is a deacon in his church.  He dabbles in computers, loves skiing through light powdery snow under blue sunny skies and sharing good food with friends.

Dr Karen Hing

Dr Hing is a University of Sydney graduate in Medicine & Surgery, and also holds Certificates in Dermatology and Sexual & Reproductive Health. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and a member of the Skin Cancer College of Australasia. She is also a clinician at the Poche Centre Melanoma Institute of Australia.  Dr Hing’s practice involves all areas of skin cancer medicine. Away from work, Karen enjoys fine dining, travel and bushwalking.

Dr Kathryn Soddy

MBBS(NSW) CDerm(Monash)

Dr Soddy is a graduate of University of NSW in Medicine & Surgery, and also holds a Certificate in Dermatology from Monash University. She is a member of the Skin Cancer College of Australasia.  Dr Soddy has interest in all areas of skin cancer and surgery. Outside of work, she enjoys singing, hot air ballooning, photography, reading crime stories, and taking long walks with husband, son and dog.

Dr Polly Chan

Dr Chan graduated with Honours from University of Sydney in Medicine & Surgery, and holds Diplomas in Child Health and Dermatology. She has worked as a staff doctor in Dermatology at Elizabeth Hospital WHS Trust UK, is a Fellow of the Australian College of General Practitioners, and is also at Poche Centre Melanoma Institute Australia.  Dr Chan’s practice involves all areas of skin cancer medicine. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two girls and travelling. 

Dr Cheng Lim
MBBS(Flinders) CDerm(Monash) CFP CSH MAPSAD FRACGP

Dr Lim is a medical graduate of Flinders University.  He is a Fellow, Examiner and Mentor for trainees of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, and University of NSW medical students. Dr Lim holds Certificates in Dermatology, Sexual Health and Family Planning.  He is a member of the Skin Cancer College of Australasia and APSAD. Dr Lim is Director of the methadone unit at Royal North Shore Private Hospital. His practice involves all areas of skin cancer and surgery. Dr Lim’s outside interests include gardening, tennis and mountain bike riding.  

Dr Daniel Morgan

MBBS DCH CDerm FRACGP

Dr Morgan is a graduate of University of Notre Dame Sydney in Medicine & Surgery. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and a member of the Skin Cancer College of Australasia. He holds a Diploma in Child Health, and Certificates in Skin Cancer Surgery and Dermoscopy. Dr Morgan practices in all areas of skin cancer and surgery. Away from work, he enjoys time with his family of three daughters, a bit of rustic piano playing, and attempting to learn kitesurfing.  

Dr James Koutsis

BMedSc MBBS(Syd) DCH CDerm(ACD) FRACGP

Dr Koutsis graduated in Medicine from University of Sydney having already completed a degree in Medical Science.  He has a Diploma in Child Health at the Children’s Hospital Westmead and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners working in general practice and skin cancer medicine for over 12 years.  He has a passion for dermatology, skin cancer medicine and surgery with postgraduate studies in a Certificate of Practical Dermoscopy with the Australasian College of Dermatologists and Master of Medicine (Skin Cancer) at the University of Queensland.  Outside of work, he enjoys travel, good food, going to the gym and spending time with his young family.
